it's no secret that i love my fruits and vegetables. i always manage to start my day off with a 100% fruit and veggie smoothie (and if i don't, watch out!). i usually throw whatever i manage to find in it, but it's always pretty much the same: citrus, more citrus, spinach, and maybe a little citrus (:
so i thought i'd share with you my morning smoothie- the guy i drink 7 days a week, sometimes twice a day!
-2 bananas (yes, two- you want to be full after this, right?)
- several large strawberries (i use about 8 or so)
-1 C pineapple, chopped
-1 C mango, chopped
- 2 HUGE handfuls of spinach (handful isn't even accurate- use a lot)
-8oz fresh squeezed OJ (i get mine from trader joes) or you could use two peeled oranges
1. throw all ingredients into a blender.
2. blend until smooth
3. pour into a glass or a mason jar
4. enjoy (:
